Oxygen Media created Womenshands, a series of video portraits dedicated to helping women artisans and their local communities gain an economic foothold. The women share with us their inspiration and purpose for creating their artwork. Since the majority of these enterprises are home or community based, they help to enhance rural economies and diminish urban migration.
